Enhancing the Health and Welfare
of Central Bucks County and Surrounding Communities
of Central Bucks County and Surrounding Communities
The VIA was founded in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in 1895 by 14 women determined to improve the health and welfare of the community’s residents. Over 125 years later, we still govern the hospital system we founded in 1923 and provide other community-benefits such as community grants, support for those in need, support for veterans, and educational scholarships. And we have fun doing it!
