Enhancing the Health and Welfare
of Central Bucks County and Surrounding Communities
The VIA is an active organization that relies on continued member-and-community support to hold events that engage our constituents. It offers educational programs at monthly meetings and fundraising events. Consider attending a meeting, enjoying an event or lending a hand to make it all happen. Membership meetings are held monthly October through June. Each meeting begins with an information or entertaining presentation and is then followed with on overview of VIA recent and upcoming activities.

This tour is offered on November 25 (Black Friday) and November 29.
Meet at the James-Lorah Memorial Home, 132 North Main Street, birthplace of Henry Mercer. Tour the Victorian mansion fully decked out for the holidays! You’ll see a display of Christmas trees, antique dolls, dollhouse, and toys, and period clothing once worn by Miss Sarah James.
Your tour continues with a walk through Historic Doylestown Borough, as a Doylestown Historical Society interpreter highlights the rich history of the town’s unique architecture and notable citizens.
The walk ends at Hops/Scotch Cocktail Bar, 22 South Main Street – but the fun doesn’t have to! You’re welcome to enjoy a glass of cheer (ask for the Holiday Tour Signature Drink, customized just for this tour!). Add a bite to eat while you rest your feet in the warmth of the Main Street Marketplace. (Food and drink not included in tour price)
This event is presented by Doylestown Historical Society and The James-Lorah Memorial Home and Museum, headquarters of the VIA of Doylestown.
